Trainee- Galway

A mid sized practice in Galway City is seeking a Trainee to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure and take on significant responsibility while working directly with the partner. The role provides invaluable insight into the workings of a practice and offers a clear road to progression. Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of accounts and financial statements.
• Assist in maintaining and developing client relationships.
• Working directly with the partner.
• Preparation and completion of audit files.
• Ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and time frame.
• Ad Hoc requests.

Your Skills and attributes:

• Ambitious and keen to pursue a career as a chartered accountant.
• In final year or recently graduated from a business/accounting degree
• Ideally a First Class honours student but would consider a 2.1 honours degree
• Keen to work with clients and have the communication skills and personality to enable a top class service to clients
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong IT Skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
