Trainee Accounting Technician - Meath

ProSource offers the chance to join a busy practice in Co. Meath supporting the finance team and partners while gaining hands on experience and working towards a qualification such as the Accounting Technician Apprenticeship with Accounting Technicians Ireland. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Assisting with bookkeeping and day to day accounting tasks.
• Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions. 
• Posting and reconciling bank transactions and general ledger accounts. 
• Preparing and reconciling monthly trial balances. 
• Helping with VAT return, payroll processing and submissions. 
• Supporting partners with Statutory accounts, year end work and client correspondence. 
• Assisting with management accounts preparation. 

Requirements: 

• Desire to work towards a professional qualification such as Accounting Technician Apprenticeship (QQI Level 6). 
• Strong numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail. 
• Good IT skills with Excel and accounting software. 
• Professional attitude, reliability and eagerness to learn.
