Trainee Accountant - Meath

ProSource are recruiting for a Trainee Accountant on behalf of a large accountancy practice in Meath. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant looking to develop their experience within a supportive and progressive practice. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of year end accounts and financial statements for a portfolio of clients.
• Assisting with VAT, PAYE and corporation tax returns.
• Completing bank reconciliations and bookkeeping duties.
• Assisting with audit assignments and client queries. 
• Liaising with clients and providing day to day accounting support.
• Working closely with senior accountants to develop technical and commercial skills. 

Requirements: 

• 1+ years experience working in an Irish accountancy practice.
• Currently pursuing ACCA or ACA qualification. 
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft excel.
