Trainee Accountant - Kilkenny

ProSource Group is delighted to be recruiting for a Trainee Accountant on behalf of a growing accountancy practice in Kilkenny. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to begin their career in accounting finance. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Assist in preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. 
• Support bookkeeping, management accounts and maintenance of accurate financial records. 
• Prepare and file VAT, PAYE and other statutory returns. 
• Assist with corporation tax, income tax and other taxation assignments. 
• Liaise with clients to gather financial information and support audit/compliance work. 
• Provide administrative support while keeping up to date with accounting standards and tax legislation.

Requirements: 

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field. 
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills. 
• High attention to detail. 
• Interested in pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CPA) 
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Proficient in accounting software.
