Trainee Accountant - Dublin

ProSource are currently seeking a Trainee Accountant to join a medium sized firm based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional with at least 1 year of experience who is currently pursuing their ACCA or ACA qualification. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assisting with preparation of accounts for a range of clients. 
• Assisting with VAT, PAYE, RCT and other tax returns. 
• Supporting audit assignments and general accounting duties. 
• Preparing bank and control account reconciliations. 
• Assisting with bookkeeping and day to day accounting tasks. 
• Liaising with clients and responding to queries. 
• Maintaining accurate and up to date financial records. 
• Working closely with senior accountants and gaining exposure to a broad range of clients. 

Requirements: 

• 1+ years relevant accountancy practice experience. 
• Currently pursuing ACCA or ACA qualification.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. 
• Strong attention to detail and oragnciantional skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good IT and Excel skills.
