Tax Trainee - Galway

My client, a Tax Specialist Accountancy Practice based in Galway, is seeking a Tax Trainee to join their team. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, CGT, and other Revenue returns.
• Monitor compliance schedules and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Liaise with clients, Revenue, and internal departments on tax matters.
• Support senior team members with tax research and advisory projects.
• Maintain study progress and uphold high professional standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Law, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Part-qualified Accountant or CTA, or willing to undertake Irish Tax Institute CTA exams.
• Interest in developing a long-term career in taxation.
• Knowledge of the Irish Tax System is an advantage.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
