Tax Trainee - Dublin

My client a large Accountancy Practiced based in Dublin City Centre are seeking a Tax Trainee to join their successful and expanding Tax Department.
  
The role will initially focus on tax compliance work with the opportunity to work on consultancy projects.
  
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, CGT and other revenue returns.
• Monitor compliance lists to ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicate with clients and Revenue.
• Liaise with other departments on tax compliance and related matters.
• Work closely with the tax team and assist senior staff with tax related research.
• Conduct any other duties or tasks associated with role.
• Planning for and maintaining all study requirements.
• Ensure work is carried out in a professional and timely manner in line with company values in order to assist in meeting client expectations.

  
Requirements: 

• Recent graduate from business, law, mathematics or accounting.
• A part qualified accountant/part qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).
• Be willing to complete the Irish Tax Institute CTA exams.
• Knowledge of the administration of the Irish Tax System would be an advantage.
• Have a keen interest in pursuing a career in tax. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Have strong organisation and communication skills.
• Be capable of developing and managing client relationships.
• Ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines.
• Great team working skills and an ability to show flexibility when faced with new challenges.
