Salary: €60,000 – €80,000

ProSource Group is partnering with a successful and growing accountancy practice in Cork that is looking to strengthen its tax team with the appointment of an experienced Tax Senior.

This is an excellent opportunity if you have a strong interest in taxation to take the next step in their career. The role offers exposure to both tax compliance and advisory work, working alongside experienced tax professionals and supporting a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day tax compliance requirements for a portfolio of personal and corporate clients.
• Prepare and review Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns, ensuring all relevant deadlines are met.
• Advise clients across a range of tax areas, including CGT, CAT, VAT and Relevant Contracts Tax.
• Assist with tax planning and identify opportunities to add value for clients.
• Work closely with Tax Managers and Partners on more complex client assignments.
• Act as a key contact for clients, dealing with Revenue correspondence, registrations and general tax queries.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to the ongoing development of the tax department.

What We're Looking For

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified.
• CTA qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
• At least 1 year of post-qualification experience within an Irish accountancy practice.
• Strong understanding of Irish tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical tax matters clearly to clients.
• Commercially aware and proactive, with a genuine interest in developing a career in tax.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines effectively.
