Tax Manager - Dublin City Centre

Our client, a well-established City Centre accountancy practice, is currently seeking a Tax Manager to join their growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional from a small to medium-sized practice background who enjoys working closely with clients and providing high-quality advisory support, while also overseeing general compliance responsibilities.

The Role As Tax Manager, you will work closely with the Tax Partner/Head of Tax to deliver a mix of advisory and compliance work, including:

• Providing tax advisory support to a varied client base (SMEs, owner-managed businesses, property investors, etc.)
• Managing and leading tax planning projects, including restructuring, investment structuring, and director/shareholder planning
• Supporting clients through Revenue queries, audits, and disputes
• Overseeing general compliance for a portfolio of clients (corporate tax, personal tax, VAT, payroll tax)
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members and ensuring high-quality outputs
• Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor

The Candidate The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent)
• 3–6 years tax experience in a small/medium practice
• Strong advisory experience, with exposure to:
  
  • Business restructuring and tax planning
  • Property and investment structuring
  • Director/shareholder planning
  • CT1, CT61, corporation tax computations
  • Personal tax self-assessments
  • VAT and payroll tax
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills

• Strong technical ability and attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio and mentor junior staff
