Tax Consultant (Part/Full time)

My client is a Kildare Accountancy practice and they are seeking a CTA qualified Tax Adviser to join the team on a full or part time basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advise clients on all aspects of their tax affairs Liaise with the client in relation to information required to complete their Tax Returns
• Prepare letters of engagement
• Prepare Tax Returns under all Tax Heads with supporting tax computations - I.T. CGT, CAT, C.T. VAT and Stamp Duty
• Meet Revenue filing and payment deadlines in accordance with clients' instructions
• Preparation and Review of Corporation Tax Computations/Deferred Tax
• Assist the Audit Department in the preparation of accounts from client's records
• Work within a team on specific clients
• Review budget prior to the commencement of an assignment and bring any overruns to the attention of the Audit or Tax Director
• Assist with training Junior Staff
• Liaising with other staff members
• Maintain time sheets in relation to work undertaken with detail and amount of time spent on each task, finalise and submit for approval on Friday before leaving the office.
• Access client information from Revenue Online System
• Maintain Work Control Sheets

You will have the following skills/experience:

1. CTA/AITI qualified with at least 3 years post qualification experience in practice in Ireland.
2. ACA/ACCA qualified an advantage.
3. Strong technical knowledge.
4. Good organisational and communication skills
5. Strong communication skills - preferred if English is your first language.
6. Ability to work on own initiative.
7. Good People/team skills.
