Structural Design Lead - Water

ProSource are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading globally recognised consultancy, for a Structural Design Lead to be a part of their growing expansion in the Irish market.
  
This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work your office days from Cork, Dublin or Galway.

The Role
  
As Structural Design Lead, you will play a critical role in both the technical excellence and commercial success of the structures division. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will take ownership of performance, people, and project delivery.
  
Responsibilities include:

• Leading operational and technical performance of the structural engineering team
• Providing clear leadership, vision, and direction aligned with business strategy
• Building, mentoring, and inspiring a growing team of engineers and technicians whilst supporting their long-term development.
• Working closely with other engineering disciplines to deliver complex, integrated infrastructure projects
• Strengthening long-term client relationships
• Leading and contributing to major tenders and securing future work pipelines

About You
  
You are a Senior Level Engineer (or equivalent) with a Level 8 degree or higher in Structural Engineering, with experience managing teams and client relationships alike.
  
You bring:

• Deep technical expertise combined with strong commercial awareness
• Proven experience managing teams
• A confident, credible communication style and the ability to operate effectively under pressure
• A strong track record of delivering complex projects to demanding standards

Experience within a consultancy environment is essential, and water sector experience would be a strong advantage.
