Site Manager

Our client, a fast-growing player in the clean energy sector, is looking for a Site Manager to take charge of delivering utility-scale solar and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects — safely, efficiently, and with real purpose.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Site Manager:

• Leading on-site operations for large-scale solar and battery storage installations.
• Acting as the go-to authority on-site, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, logistics, and safety.
• Implementing strict health & safety protocols, ensuring full compliance with CDM and industry standards.
• Managing daily site reporting, risk assessments, and weekly progress updates.
• Liaising with internal project teams and external stakeholders to keep delivery on time and within budget.
• Upholding the highest standards in quality assurance, documentation, and environmental compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within renewable energy or utility-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong working knowledge of CDM regulations, health & safety legislation, and environmental best practices.
• Experience overseeing solar farms or BESS projects is highly desirable.
• A natural leader with strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Comfortable with extensive UK travel and site-based work.
