Site Engineer

Site Engineer required for Civils contractor on projects in Clare and Limerick. This is a long-term position with similar projects in the area. Candidates should have 1+ years’ experience in the construction industry in Ireland or the UK and have a civil engineering or similar degree.

Role:
The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating on-site activities, ensuring that construction works are executed according to specifications, quality standards, and within designated timelines.
  
Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys and assessments to interpret project plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Supervise and manage construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project plans and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Provide technical expertise to resolve engineering issues and challenges on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, measurements, and progress updates.
• Assist in implementing health, safety, and environmental protocols on the construction site.

  
Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
• Previous experience in a Site Engineer or similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
