Site Engineer - Main Contractor

ProSource are seeking a Site Engineer on behalf of their client who are a Building Contractor in Galway. 

Role Overview The Site Engineer is responsible for setting out, surveying, and ensuring that construction works are carried out in accordance with design drawings, specifications, and quality standards. 

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;

• Perform accurate setting out using total station/GPS equipment
• Check line, level, and dimensions of works
• Work closely with site managers, subcontractors, and design teams
• Ensure works are carried out to programme and specification
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and Irish building regulations
• Conduct inspections and maintain QA/QC documentation
• Record and report any deviations or issues
• Ensure works comply with health & safety plans
• Participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments
• Maintain site records (RFI logs, as-built drawings, site diaries)
• Support preparation of progress reports

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 1–5+ years experience
