Site Engineer

Join a leading civil engineering contractor on major Data Centre construction projects across Germany. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on large-scale, high-specification infrastructure, gaining invaluable international experience in one of Europe's fastest-growing sectors.

Your responsibilities would be the following; supporting site operations across a variety of civil projects, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project specifications and drawings
• Managing subcontractors and supervising day-to-day site activities
• Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are adhered to at all times
• Maintaining detailed site records, reports, and as-built drawings
• Assisting with site planning, programming, and resource management
• Liaising with the project management team, clients, and design teams
• Supporting the quality assurance process and ensuring compliance with technical standards

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 2+ years' experience in a civil engineering setting (utilities, infrastructure, groundworks preferred)
• Strong setting out skills with GPS, robotic total station, and AutoCAD experience
• Good understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a site team
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Full clean driving licence
• Flexibility to work abroad on a rotational basis (e.g., 3 weeks on / 1 week off)
