Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting a skilled Site Engineer to join a well-established and growing civil engineering contractor operating across Leinster. This role will suit an ambitious engineer with at least 2 years' site experience, looking to take ownership of civil infrastructure and residential projects.

The Project
Based in Meath you will be assisting on Phase 1 of a residential project with phase 2 and 3 to follow. This will be expected run over the course of a year with more projects to follow around the Meath and Kildare region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing site documentation including as-built drawings, RFIs, and daily records.
• Providing technical support to site teams and contributing to problem-solving.
• Liaising with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders on site progress.
• Supporting project close-out, handover, and quality assurance procedures.
• Setting out, surveying, and ensuring accurate execution of works on-site.
• Collaborating closely with the site team, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure programme delivery.
• Assisting in quality control, health and safety compliance, and adherence to specifications.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction-related field.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Site Engineer role within the civil engineering or utilities sector.
• Strong setting out skills using GPS, robotic total stations.
• Sound knowledge of Irish construction regulations and building standards.
• Knowledge of site management tasks is a bonus. 
• Full clean driving licence essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
