Site Engineer

About the Role
A leading residential construction project in Dublin is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the team. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to be involved in setting out, quality control, and daily site coordination while providing a clear career path to progress into a Site Agent role.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying for all aspects of site works, including foundations, drainage, and structural elements.
• Perform quality checks to ensure works meet specifications and design standards.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials, and inspections.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Support site management with programming, safety checks, and coordination tasks to gain exposure to site agent duties.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 1+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer, ideally on residential projects.
• Proficiency in setting-out equipment (Total Station, GPS) and understanding of construction drawings.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ambition to progress into a leadership role within site management.
