Site Agent

A leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent for a major road infrastructure project in Dublin, with further long-term work planned in the region. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of this large-scale project, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a civil engineer with strong leadership skills to step into a long-term role on significant infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage site teams on a large roadworks project
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, equipment, and on-site operations
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Monitor programme schedules, productivity, and progress reporting
• Liaise with project engineers, consultants, and client representatives
• Oversee documentation, permits, and reporting
• Support continuous improvement across project delivery

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years in a Site Agent, Project Engineer, or Junior Project Manager role
• Proven experience in roadworks, groundworks, or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Excellent knowledge of Irish construction regulations and contract procedures
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Full clean driving licence
