Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor the company’s EHS management systems on live construction sites.
  • Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
  • Provide EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to site staff and subcontractors.
  • Support the project team in accident/incident investigations and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish legislation and industry best practice (PSDP/PSCS requirements).
  • Maintain site safety records, documentation, and reporting to senior EHS and project leadership.
  • Liaise with external agencies, clients, and safety consultants where required.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive hazard identification.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within the Construction Engineering or M&E sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish EHS legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Experience working on large-scale or high-specification projects (e.g., data centres, pharma, tech) is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (or willingness to obtain).
