Key Responsibilities: - Implement and monitor the company’s EHS management systems on live construction sites.
- Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Provide EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to site staff and subcontractors.
- Support the project team in accident/incident investigations and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Irish legislation and industry best practice (PSDP/PSCS requirements).
- Maintain site safety records, documentation, and reporting to senior EHS and project leadership.
- Liaise with external agencies, clients, and safety consultants where required.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive hazard identification.
Requirements: - Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within the Construction Engineering or M&E sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Irish EHS legislation, regulations, and standards.
- Experience working on large-scale or high-specification projects (e.g., data centres, pharma, tech) is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and documentation skills
- Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (or willingness to obtain).
