Position: Setting Out Engineer
Location: Ireland (Project-Based)

Package: €50,000 - €60,000 per annum, plus benefits package

Overview:
Our client, a prominent reinforced concrete specialist, is seeking a Setting Out Engineer to provide precise measurements and layouts for RC frame projects. This role is crucial to maintaining the accuracy and quality of complex concrete structures and requires a detail-oriented engineer with a passion for precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate setting out, levelling, and surveying to support reinforced concrete construction.
• Interpret drawings, plans, and project documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with the site team and project managers to ensure timely delivery of construction milestones.
• Monitor and adjust measurements as needed to account for structural changes.
• Maintain records of all setting-out work and communicate progress to the site and project management teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in setting out, ideally with reinforced concrete projects.
• Strong understanding of surveying and setting-out equipment and methods.
• Attention to detail and precision, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or Surveying.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and surveying software.
