An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Professional to join a progressive accountancy practice in Galway.

Working closely with the Tax Partner, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients, while contributing to the continued development and growth of the firm's tax department.

The Role

• Work closely with the Tax Partner on a broad range of tax matters and client engagements.
• Provide tax planning, advisory and compliance services to a varied client portfolio.
• Advise clients on a range of taxation matters, identifying opportunities and providing practical solutions.
• Manage and review tax assignments, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact.
• Support and mentor junior members of the tax team.
• Keep up to date with relevant tax legislation and regulatory developments.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the firm's tax offering.

The Ideal Candidate

• A minimum of 2 years' relevant post-qualification experience.
• Experience working within an accountancy practice or professional services environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across relevant areas of taxation.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage assignments independently while working closely with senior leadership.
• Commercially minded, proactive and keen to contribute to a growing tax practice.
