Senior Site Engineer - Kildare

This multi-site role will suit an experienced Site Engineer or Senior Engineer with a strong background in large-scale residential groundworks. You'll take ownership of engineering across several live sites: coordinating crews and subcontractors, keeping works accurate and on programme, and supporting junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for engineering and setting out across multiple residential sites.
• Oversee groundworks including site clearance, bulk earthworks, foundations, drainage, roads, footpaths and services.
• Coordinate engineers, site crews, subcontractors, plant and materials across sites.
• Monitor progress against programme and help with short-term planning of site activities.
• Review drawings, specifications and construction information, and raise RFIs where needed.
• Maintain strong quality control, with accurate inspection, test and as-built records.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, clients, consultants and local authorities as required.
• Make sure works meet project specifications and Health & Safety requirements.
• Mentor and support junior and graduate engineers.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Level 7/8).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering or groundworks.
• Strong experience on large residential developments.
• Previous experience at Senior Engineer or Site Engineer level.
• Strong setting out skills using GPS, total station and level.
• Experience managing sections of work and subcontractors independently.
• Comfortable working across multiple sites at once.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Full Irish driving licence.
