Senior Safety Officer

ProSource is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor on behalf of a leading M&E contractor with a strong pipeline of projects across Dublin.

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve subcontractor EHS documentation, including training certifications, RAMS, and related compliance documentation.
• Prepare and issue Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and Site-Specific Safety Statements in collaboration with Site Foremen and Contracts Managers.
• Review subcontractors' Safety Statements and monitor ongoing safety compliance.
• Attend site Health & Safety meetings and daily EHS briefings to promote a strong safety culture.
• Conduct regular Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) inspections across project sites.
• Deliver EHS inductions and training to employees.
• Investigate, record, and report accidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly.

Requirements  

• Previous experience working on construction projects is essential.
• Level 7 qualification (or higher) in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' Health & Safety experience within the construction industry.
• Full driving licence.
