Senior Resident Engineer - Kerry

ProSource Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Irish consultancy with an international portfolio, for a Senior Resident Engineer to oversee bridge and associated road infrastructure works in County Kerry.

This role suits an experienced Resident Engineer with a strong background in the construction, repair, rehabilitation and strengthening of structures.

Role

• Lead day-to-day site supervision of bridge upgrades, replacement works and associated infrastructure.
• Monitor contractor activities against the drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
• Inspect works, monitor quality and progress, and maintain comprehensive site records.
• Review method statements and technical submissions, coordinating queries with the design team.
• Support contract administration and liaise with the contractor, client and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor site safety and identify construction issues requiring action.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Civil/Structural Engineering, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 10+ years post-graduate experience fulfilling a Resident Engineer role. 
• Experience on projects involving the construction, repair, rehabilitation and strengthening of relevant masonry, concrete and steel structures.
• Excellent communication, reporting and site coordination skills.
