A leading main contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Dublin. With a strong pipeline of large-scale construction projects secured across multiple sectors, the company continues to grow and invest heavily in both its people and project portfolio.

The successful candidate will join a well-structured commercial team and play a key role in the successful delivery of major construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the commercial management of projects from commencement through to final account.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and financial reports.
  • Procure and manage subcontractor and supplier packages.
  • Monitor project costs and maintain accurate forecasting.
  • Manage variations, claims, and contractual matters.
  • Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure strong commercial performance.
  • Provide regular commercial reporting to senior management.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team.
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial management and contract administration.
  • Experience working with a main contractor is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple commercial priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ambitious individual seeking long-term progression opportunities.
Package
  • Salary: €80,000 – €95,000 DOE.
  • Company vehicle or €8,000 car allowance.
