A well-established main contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team based in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of major construction projects while working alongside an experienced commercial team. Responsibilities
• Lead the commercial management of construction projects from commencement through to final account.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, tender analysis, and package awards.
• Prepare and assess valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, cashflow forecasts, and monthly commercial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
• Work closely with project managers, site teams, and design teams to achieve commercial objectives.
• Identify commercial risks and implement effective cost control measures.
• Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team.

Requirements
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a main contractor or subcontractor environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract administration experience.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Experience using industry-standard commercial software is desirable.
• Chartered status or a desire to achieve professional accreditation is advantageous.
• Ambitious individual looking to progress within a growing contractor.

• €75,000 - €90,000 DOE
