Senior Quantity Surveyor

One of Ireland’s largest and most established infrastructure contractors is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team delivering renewable energy projects across the Midlands. With a strong presence in the Irish infrastructure market and a reputation for delivering complex, large-scale schemes, this organisation offers long-term stability and structured career progression.
  
There is already 3–4 years of confirmed work secured within the renewable energy sector, providing excellent continuity and the opportunity to be involved in nationally significant sustainable infrastructure projects.
  
Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of renewable energy projects from commencement through to final account.
• Oversee cost planning, budgeting, and procurement of subcontract packages.
• Manage interim valuations, variations, and contractual claims.
• Monitor project costs, cashflow, and forecasting to ensure financial control.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to drive commercial performance.
• Provide accurate and timely commercial reporting to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and company governance procedures.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in a QS role, with strong contractor-side experience preferred.
• Experience within infrastructure, civil engineering, or energy projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of contract administration and cost control.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage commercial aspects of large-scale projects independently.

• €90,000 – €100,000 DOE.
