Senior Quantity Surveyor

A leading Tier One Main Contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Dublin. With a strong reputation for delivering large-scale residential developments across Ireland and the UK, the company continues to secure major projects and maintain an impressive pipeline of work.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior QS to work on high-profile residential developments while benefiting from a clearly defined progression pathway within a well-established contractor. The organisation also offers future opportunities to transfer onto projects in London for candidates interested in international experience.
  
Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of large-scale residential construction projects.
• Prepare and oversee budgets, valuations, and cost reporting.
• Manage procurement and commercial administration of subcontractor packages.
• Prepare and assess variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Work closely with project managers and site teams to maintain strong commercial control.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
• Mentor and support junior commercial staff where required.

 
Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
• 8+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a contractor environment.
• Strong residential construction experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent understanding of commercial management and contract administration.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage large-scale projects independently.
• Ambitious individual seeking long-term progression within a Tier One contractor.  

Package

• €90,000 – €100,000 DOE.
