ProSource Group are currently recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in Limerick on behalf of one of Ireland’s largest and renowned M&E Contractors. This client has a strong pipeline of work in Limerick and the role offers opportunities for a professional within a growing organization.

Role:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take on a key leadership role within the commercial team, overseeing and managing all aspects of cost control and procurement throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining the company's commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead the cost management function for assigned projects, from inception to completion.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide accurate estimates for materials, labour, and other project-related expenses.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project financial performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Mentor and guide junior members of the commercial team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on Senior roles in the Construction Industry and M&E experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Proficient in relevant software tools and applications.
  • Membership of a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS) is highly desirable.
