Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a one of Ireland’s largest Civil Engineering Contractor’s who are seeking a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee ongoing projects in the Limerick Region. This company pride themselves on delivering high-profile and high-quality infrastructure, utilities, and groundworks projects across Ireland. Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to take on increased responsibility and autonomy while working alongside experienced professionals who will support your continued growth and development.
  
Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
• Support the procurement process by obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations, ensuring value for money.
• Assist in the administration of construction contracts, including variations, claims, and payments, while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Prepare regular financial reports, including cost value reconciliations and cost forecasts, to inform project stakeholders and support decision-making.
• Participate in risk assessment activities to identify and mitigate commercial risks associated with projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, addressing queries and ensuring project requirements are met.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams to provide commercial support and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.

Package

• €70,000 - €80,000 DOE
