Summary A leading
international main contractor is seeking to appoint a
Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team delivering
large-scale data centre projects across the
Greater London region.
This is a senior-level role within a highly structured commercial environment, offering exposure to technically complex projects and the opportunity to work alongside experienced commercial leadership on mission-critical developments.
The Role - Full commercial management of data centre projects from procurement through to final account
- Preparation of cost reports, valuations, variations and cashflow forecasts
- Subcontractor procurement, negotiation and commercial administration
- Contractual correspondence and commercial risk management
- Working closely with project, design and senior commercial teams
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team where required
Requirements - Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
- Experience on data centre, life sciences, pharmaceutical or technically complex projects
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial controls
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-value project environment
