Senior Quantity Surveyor

A well-established building contractor based in Wexford is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Opportunities of this level in the South-East don’t come around often, making this an excellent chance for a senior QS looking for longevity without relocating to a major city.

This role will see the successful candidate involved across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial developments, fit-out works, design & build schemes and residential projects, providing strong variety and long-term visibility of work.

The Role:

• Full commercial management of projects from pre-contract through to final account
• Preparation and management of cost reports, valuations, variations and final accounts
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• Advising on contractual and commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle
• Working closely with project and senior management teams to drive commercial performance

Requirements:

• 6+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a contracting environment
• Strong background across building projects (commercial / residential / fit-out)
• Excellent commercial awareness and contract administration skills
• Ability to manage projects independently while contributing at a senior team level
• Relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Package:

• €80,000 – €85,000 DOE
