Senior Quantity Surveyor

A leading Tier One Main Building Contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Dublin. With one of the strongest project pipelines in the Irish construction industry, the company continues to deliver landmark developments across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on large-scale residential projects at present.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a market-leading contractor renowned for delivering high-profile developments, investing heavily in its people, and offering genuine long-term career progression. Responsibilities
• Take commercial responsibility for major construction projects from commencement through to final account.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasting.
• Procure and manage subcontractor and supplier packages.
• Prepare and assess variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure projects remain commercially successful.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
• Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team where required.
• Provide regular commercial reporting to senior management.

Requirements
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role.
• Previous experience with a main contractor is highly desirable, though candidates from a developer background will also be considered.
• Strong experience managing the commercial aspects of large-scale construction projects.
• Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects independently while working collaboratively within a commercial team.
• Ambitious individual seeking long-term progression within a Tier One contractor.

Package
• Salary: €85,000 – €100,000 DOE.
