A leading construction and infrastructure contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Swords, Co. Dublin. This role is ideally suited to an experienced QS with a background in public works, looking to take on a senior position within a well-structured and forward-thinking company. Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial aspects of projects from commencement through to final account.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
  • Prepare and assess valuations, variations, and contractual claims.
  • Monitor project costs and provide accurate forecasting.
  • Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and public works contracts.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the commercial team.

Requirements
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working within Ireland or the UK.
  • Previous experience on public works projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration and commercial management.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines.

Package
  • €80,000 - €90,000 DOE
