Senior Quantity Surveyor

A well-established electrical contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Limerick. With several key projects currently in delivery and a strong pipeline of new work on the horizon, this is a long-term, stable opportunity within a company known for high-quality engineering and repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial delivery of multiple electrical projects across the region.
• Prepare valuations, variations, cost reports, and final accounts.
• Manage procurement and subcontractor packages, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing.
• Work closely with project managers, engineering teams, and senior leadership to maintain commercial control.
• Ensure strict compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures.
• Provide cost planning, forecasting, and financial oversight.
• Mentor junior QS staff and contribute to commercial team development.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Electrical contracting experience is essential (non-negotiable).
• Proven track record working on M&E or electrical installation projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical skills.
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational abilities.

Package

• €70,000 - €80,000 DOE.
