Senior Quantity Surveyor

A tier-one main building contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Dublin. The company is recognised for delivering large-scale, high-profile projects across multiple sectors and has a strong pipeline of upcoming work secured well into the future.
This role offers the opportunity to take a senior position on technically challenging projects, contribute to commercial strategy, and progress further within a well-established and highly regarded organisation.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for major construction projects from procurement through to final account.
• Prepare and manage cost reports, valuations, variations, and cashflow forecasts.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and commercial management.
• Work closely with project managers and site teams to drive commercial performance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the commercial team.
• Manage contractual correspondence and support dispute resolution where required.
• Report regularly to senior management on project financial performance.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 7+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within a main contractor environment.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale construction projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge.
• Confident communicator with leadership capability.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and contribute at a senior level.

• €85,000 - €95,000 DOE
• 26 days annual leave.
