Senior / Principal Engineer - Dublin

An established engineering consultancy delivering civil, structural and infrastructure projects across Ireland and the UK is expanding its Dublin team following continued project growth.

This is a senior technical and leadership role for an experienced Senior or Principal Engineer who enjoys combining hands-on design with project leadership, client engagement and commercial growth.

You will lead projects or major work packages from concept through to construction across sectors including marine and coastal infrastructure, public realm and active travel, transport infrastructure, bridges, ports and multidisciplinary developments.
  
Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of civil, structural, marine or infrastructure projects
• Act as Lead Engineer / Project Manager on projects or key work packages
• Undertake and review engineering design in line with Eurocodes and Irish / UK standards
• Manage project programme, budget and resources
• Engage directly with clients, stakeholders and project partners
• Deliver projects under Irish Public Works Contracts frameworks
• Lead QA, health & safety and sustainable design practices
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development
• Support bid preparation and project development activities

Requirements

• Bachelors in Civil, Structural or Marine Engineering
• 5-10 years experience
• Chartered Engineer (or progressing toward Chartership)
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and Irish / UK standards
• Experience managing projects, teams and technical quality
• Familiarity with Irish planning and approvals processes
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage delivery performance
