Senior MEP Estimator

Company Intro / Summary
A well-established and growing MEP contractor is seeking a Senior MEP Estimator to join their Dublin-based pre-construction team. The business delivers complex, high-value projects across the commercial and data centre sectors, working with repeat clients on technically challenging builds nationwide.

This is a senior appointment offering real influence at tender stage, exposure to large-scale projects, and long-term career security within a respected MEP organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed MEP cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to produce accurate pricing.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing, comparisons, and commercial assessments.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options during the tender phase.
• Work closely with design, procurement, and delivery teams to develop strong bid strategies.
• Support tender adjudications and pre-award negotiations.
• Assist with handover of secured projects to delivery and commercial teams.
• Mentor and support junior estimators where required.

Requirements

• Strong experience in an MEP estimating role (mechanical and/or electrical).
• Proven background working on commercial and/or data centre projects.
• Excellent commercial, analytical, and numerical skills.
• Ability to manage complex tenders independently at senior level.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.

Package

• €80,000 - €90,000 DOE.
