Senior Health and Safety Officer

ProSource is currently seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Officer on behalf of a leading M&E contractor, experiencing significant growth and delivering a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular EHS inspections, identifying hazards and ensuring compliance with site requirements.
• Prepare, review and maintain RAMS, Risk Assessments and Safety Statements.
• Assess and approve subcontractor EHS documentation and safety procedures.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and EHS training.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing and monitoring corrective actions.
• Attend H&S meetings and daily EHS briefings, providing professional guidance and support.

Requirements

• Level 7 qualification or higher in Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years’ relevant Health & Safety experience, ideally within the construction, engineering or M&E sectors.
• Strong knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
