Senior Health and Safety Officer

ProSource is currently seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Officer on behalf of a leading M&E contractor, experiencing significant growth and delivering a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular EHS inspections, identifying hazards and ensuring site compliance.
• Prepare and review RAMS, Risk Assessments and Safety Statements.
• Review and approve subcontractor EHS documentation.
• Deliver EHS training, toolbox talks and site inductions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Participate in H&S meetings and daily EHS briefings, providing guidance and support.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a relevant Health & Safety role, ideally within the construction, engineering, or M&E sector.
• A Level 7 qualification or higher in Environmental, Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
