Senior Estimator

As they continue on an upward trajectory, they're looking to strengthen their commercial team with a Senior Estimator. This is a key hire within a well-structured, experienced business that offers genuine project variety, long-term stability, and real career progression.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of tenders across residential, commercial, fit-out, and industrial projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and contract documents to produce accurate cost estimates
• Manage the full tender process from initial enquiry through to submission
• Liaise with clients, designers, and subcontractors throughout the tender stage
• Review and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Work closely with the commercial and operations teams to ensure competitive and realistic pricing
• Contribute to post-tender reviews and negotiations

Requirements

• Minimum 6–7 years' experience in an Estimating role with a main contractor
• Currently operating at Senior Estimator level is preferable
• Proven track record preparing tenders for Irish construction projects
• Strong knowledge of the Irish construction market across multiple sectors
• Quantity Surveying background highly desirable
• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
• Comfortable working to demanding deadlines without compromising on accuracy

Package

• Salary: €85,000+ DOE
• Hybrid working model — 4 days office / 1 day remote
• Flexible base location — Westmeath or Dublin
