Role
As a Senior Estimator, you will lead the estimating process for high-profile civil engineering projects, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to the pre-construction team. Drawing on your extensive experience and industry knowledge, you will develop accurate and competitive tender submissions, identify value engineering opportunities, and drive continuous improvement in estimating practices. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record of success in delivering cost-effective solutions for complex projects.
  
Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of estimators, providing guidance and support to drive high performance and collaboration.
• Develop and implement estimating strategies aligned with business objectives, market trends, and project requirements.
• Oversee the tender process from initial inquiry to submission, ensuring timely and accurate completion of bid proposals.
• Conduct comprehensive cost estimates for civil engineering projects, considering materials, labour, equipment, and indirect costs.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization, collaborating with design teams and subcontractors to maximize project value.
• Perform detailed risk assessments and sensitivity analyses to assess project viability and mitigate potential risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, representing the company professionally and ethically.
• Drive continuous improvement in estimating processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  
Package

• €70,000 - €80,000 DOE
