Senior Engineer - South-East

The role will suit a Senior Engineer with a strong heavy civils background who wants to take ownership of engineering on a port project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for engineering and day-to-day delivery of designated sections of the works.
• Help mobilise the project and set up engineering systems and records.
• Oversee setting out, surveying and technical requirements.
• Coordinate engineers, foremen, subcontractors, plant and materials.
• Review drawings, temporary works and specifications, and raise RFIs where needed.
• Maintain quality control and accurate inspection and as-built records.
• Work closely with the Project Manager on programme, planning and technical issues.
• Mentor and support site and graduate engineers.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Level 7/8).
• Minimum 7 years’ experience on civil engineering projects.
• Strong heavy civils and public infrastructure experience (essential).
• Marine or port experience is preferred but not essential.
• Solar project experience is also highly valued.
• Strong setting out and technical engineering knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Full Irish driving licence.
