Senior Electrical Engineer

ProSource Group are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our clients  engineering team. They are a leading global Provider of Specialist Design, Engineering and Construction Services across a variety of key sectors including Data Centres & Pharma.

The role includes:

• Preparing primary design layouts
• Busbar system calculations, thermal & mechanical loading
• Secondary design including preparation of control & protection schematics
• Auxiliary AC & DC system sizing and specification
• Protective shielding, lightning protection, earthing design
• Witness of factory & site acceptance testing
• Interface engineering with TSO/DSO
• Specification and procurement of major items of electrical plant
• Design review of work undertaken by other engineers on the team

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering is a prerequisite.
• Minimum 7 years similar experience.
• Previous experience with pharma experience is preferred
• Previous experience with grid connections / renewable energy / airfield works is essential.
• Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office packages, including diagnostic skills, and familiarity with Auto-CAD and ePlan P8 or similar is preferred.
