Senior Electrical Design Engineer

ProSource Group are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a well-established building services consultancy delivering M&E design projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, conservation, and public sectors. The successful candidate will lead electrical design activities, support project delivery, mentor junior engineers, and maintain high technical and client service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and provide technical expertise
• Develop detailed electrical plans, specifications and drawings
• Oversee the full electrical design process
• Collaborate with architects, project managers and wider teams
• Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards and regulations
• Coordinate electrical systems within overall project designs
• Resolve technical issues and optimise designs for efficiency
• Mentor and support junior team members
• Contribute to innovative design solutions and improvements

Skills/Training/Competencies:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience, with a proven track record across increasingly complex projects
• Proficiency in industry-standard electrical design and analysis software
• Based in Ireland
• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to respond effectively to changing project requirements and priorities
