Senior Electrical Design Engineer

ProSource Group are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an established building services consultancy working on a diverse portfolio of M&E design projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, conservation and public sector developments.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical design projects from initial concept through to detailed design and completion.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations and technical documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout all stages of project delivery.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, architectural and other engineering disciplines.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring efficient and practical design solutions.
• Work closely with clients, architects, project managers and wider design teams.
• Support and mentor junior engineers, providing technical advice and guidance.
• Ensure all designs meet relevant industry regulations, standards and project specifications.

Skills / Training / Competencies

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant Irish electrical design experience, with exposure to a range of building services projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in relevant electrical design and engineering software.
• Excellent technical, communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise workloads and deliver to deadlines.
