  • Coordinating and managing junior ecologists and external surveyors
  • Liaising with clients, project teams, and regulatory bodies
  • Preparing and reviewing reports including Natura Impact Statements, Ecological Impact Assessments, and species-specific assessments

  • Contributing to biodiversity enhancement strategies and nature-based solutions
About You:
  • A relevant degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or related discipline (postgraduate qualification an advantage)
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in ecological consultancy or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish and EU wildlife legislation, planning policy and ecological best practice
  • Proven experience in leading surveys, managing field teams and producing high-quality technical reports
  • Full clean driver’s licence (essential)
  • Membership of CIEEM or eligible for full membership
Specialist expertise in areas such as bat surveys, ornithology, aquatic ecology or habitat restoration will be particularly welcome.

What’s on Offer:
  • Flexible hybrid working (in multiple office locations across Ireland)
  • Opportunities for career development and progression
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Involvement in projects that contribute to climate resilience and biodiversity protection
  • Competitive salary, professional development support, pension and more
