Senior Commercial Energy Consultant
Our client is a market-leading energy consultancy in Ireland, established in 2004 and specialising in flexible energy contract management, dynamic hedging and live energy market trading for Large Energy Users.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Energy Consultant to join their team. This is a key role supporting the development and deployment of bespoke risk management strategies for a portfolio of large commercial clients across Ireland.

The Role
You will provide market intelligence to the internal team and best-in-class energy services to clients, including:

• Managing energy tenders for large single-site and multi-site commercial users
• Trading on behalf of clients in line with agreed strategies using the Trigger Monitor report
• Preparing and issuing daily energy market reports covering wholesale gas, electricity and crude oil
• Creating and managing client position reports and trade data entry
• Monitoring the regulatory environment and reporting on key developments affecting natural gas, electricity and diesel costs
• Analysing and recommending improvements to client strategies
• Delivering excellent client service to drive high retention rates

What You'll Need

• Direct Irish energy market experience (essential)
• Minimum five years' experience in an analytical or business support role
• Primary degree in Energy, Environmental, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, IT or a related field
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
