ProSource Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing Irish engineering design consultancy, for a Senior Civil Technician to join its Dublin office. This is an opportunity for an experienced AutoCAD and Civil 3D user to take ownership of drawing and modelling packages, working closely with an experienced Chartered Engineer. The consultancy’s wider portfolio spans pharmaceutical, industrial, commercial and residential projects, offering scope to broaden your technical experience within a multidisciplinary team.
Role
Produce high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Develop site layouts, road alignments, levels strategies and earthworks models.
Support foul drainage, surface water and SuDS design.
Prepare drawing packages for planning, tender and construction stages.
Coordinate with engineers, architects and other design team members.
Take responsibility for the accuracy and timely delivery of your drawings and models.
Requirements
5+ years experience, ideally within the Irish or UK market.
Proficiency in Civil 3D, alongside strong AutoCAD skills.
A sound understanding of site development, drainage and infrastructure design.
The ability to work independently, coordinate with colleagues and manage competing deadlines.
