Senior Civil Engineer - Limerick

Salary: €60,000 - €70,000

ProSource are recruiting on behalf of a leading Irish multidisciplinary engineering consultancy for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing Limerick office.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established consultancy delivering projects across the Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Public Sector and Infrastructure sectors throughout Ireland.

The Role

You will take ownership of projects from concept through to construction, leading the design and delivery of civil infrastructure including roads, drainage, utilities and water services.

• Lead civil engineering projects from feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction.
• Design and coordinate site infrastructure including roads, drainage, SuDS, utilities and water services.
• Prepare engineering reports, flood risk assessments, planning documentation and technical submissions.
• Produce detailed design packages, specifications and tender documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, Local Authorities and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Attend and lead project, client and design team meetings.
• Support BCAR inspections and construction-stage project delivery.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years civil engineering experience.
• 2+ years experience within an Irish engineering consultancy.
• Strong experience in roads, drainage, SuDS, utilities and water infrastructure design.
• Experience delivering projects from planning through to construction.
• Good knowledge of Irish design standards, approval processes and statutory requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD, InfoDrainage (or equivalent) and Civil 3D is desirable.
• Chartered Engineer status, or active progression towards Chartership.
• Excellent communication, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Full clean driving licence.
