Senior Civil Engineer - Galway

*Salary: €65,000 - €80,000 DOE*

ProSource are recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-growing multidisciplinary design consultancy based in Galway, for a Senior Civil Engineer to lead and deliver medium-large scale infrastructure projects nationwide for a variety of blue-chip clients.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will:

• Lead the design and delivery of civil and structural engineering projects, from initial concept through to completion.
• Oversee site development works, including drainage, utilities, earthworks, and road design.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring seamless collaboration across projects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, supporting their professional development.
• Engage with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure designs meet all technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Produce and review technical drawings, models, and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM/Revit.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct site visits and inspections.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Level 8 or higher).
• 7–10 years’ post-graduate experience in civil engineering design
• A strong portfolio of experience delivering medium to large-scale building and infrastructure projects.
• Advanced knowledge of site development works, utilities, road design, drainage, and earthworks.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with strong skills in Civil 3D and BIM/Revit highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines.
• A full driving licence and access to your own transport.
• Experience liaising with local authorities and clients.
