Senior Civil Engineer - Dublin

ProSource Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established Irish-owned engineering consultancy, for a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Dublin team.

This is an opportunity for a well-rounded engineer to take ownership of projects from feasibility and planning through to construction. You’ll work within a close-knit, multidisciplinary team, combining hands-on technical design with client management and mentoring junior engineers.

 Role

• Lead civil engineering projects from initial feasibility through planning, detailed design and construction.
• Design and coordinate roads, drainage, water services, utilities and associated site infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering reports, planning submissions, specifications and tender packages.
• Manage client relationships and liaise with architects, contractors, local authorities and statutory bodies.
• Chair project meetings, coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs and undertake site inspections.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development.

Requirements

• Level 8 degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years experience, including experience within an Irish engineering consultancy.
• Broad technical experience across roads, drainage, water services, utilities and traffic engineering.
• Experience delivering projects from planning through construction, with strong client-facing and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of Uisce Éireann requirements, TII standards and DMURS, alongside a full driving licence.
• Chartership, or progress towards it, and experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD and InfoDrainage would be advantageous.
