Senior Building Services Engineer

ProSource Group is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Building Services Engineer to join a dynamic and collaborative team, delivering high-quality design solutions across a diverse range of projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with a passion for sustainable design and a strong background in M&E and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality engineering designs that support the efficient and sustainable delivery of client projects.
• Apply your expertise in Sustainable Building Services Design, M&E Systems, and HVAC throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in all phases of project delivery—from concept and design through testing, commissioning, and final handover.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and intermediate-level Engineers and Technicians, fostering technical growth and collaboration.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status, ideally with membership in the Institution of Structural Engineers or the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a design-focused role with a strong track record in sustainable building services and HVAC systems.
• Demonstrated ability to take conceptual designs through to completion while liaising directly with clients.
• Strong communication skills and a confident, approachable manner.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a commitment to quality and getting things right the first time.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with experience attending and contributing to client meetings.
• Capable of leading multi-disciplinary teams and supporting peers in developing innovative and effective design solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a consistent history of initiative and professional achievement.
• Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
