Senior Accountant - Practice (Wexford)

We’re working with an established, locally rooted professional services firm in Wexford Town that is looking to hire a Senior Qualified Accountant.

This is an opportunity to join a supportive team, take ownership of your own client portfolio and continue developing your career across accounts, tax and advisory.

The Role

You’ll work closely with clients, managing your own portfolio and delivering a range of accounting and taxation assignments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own block of clients and developing strong, long-term relationships.
• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns for farmers, businesses and companies.
• Working on consultancy and advisory assignments.
• Delivering client assignments in a timely and professional manner.
• Managing and scheduling client assignments.
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members.

What We’re Looking For

• A Qualified Accountant with practice experience.
• Strong knowledge of Irish taxation.
• Experience managing a client portfolio and working directly with clients.
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A motivated self-starter who is keen to continue progressing their career.
• 4+ years’ post-qualification experience in practice would be an advantage.
