Senior Accountant - Nationwide

We are currently recruiting for Qualified Accountants with 1+ years’ PQE for a range of opportunities with established and growing accountancy practices across Ireland.
These roles would suit qualified accountants looking to progress their career within practice, whether your background is in Accounts, Audit, Tax, Advisory, Outsourcing or a combination of disciplines.
The Role Depending on your experience and area of specialism, responsibilities may include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact.
• Preparing and reviewing accounts for a range of clients.
• Preparing and reviewing tax returns and providing tax compliance support.
• Supporting or managing audit assignments.
• Providing accounting and advisory support to clients.
• Managing deadlines and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing guidance where required.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and deliver additional value to clients.
• Supporting partners and managers on more complex assignments and projects.
• Mentoring and developing trainees and part-qualified accountants where applicable.

About You We are interested in speaking with ACA, ACCA or CPA qualified accountants with at least 1 year PQE who are currently working in practice.
You may be an experienced Senior Accountant, Audit Senior, Tax Senior, Assistant Manager, Client Manager or similar, or simply be ready for the next step in your career.

We are open to candidates from a variety of practice backgrounds and disciplines.

You will ideally have:

• 1+ years’ post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical accounting and/or tax knowledge relevant to your area.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and client relationship skills.
• The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
• A commercial and proactive approach.
• A genuine interest in developing your career within practice.
