Senior Accountant – Cork
Salary: €60,000 – €70,000 

ProSource Group is working with a growing accountancy practice in Cork that is looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to its team.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to take ownership of a varied portfolio. You’ll have the opportunity to manage your own workload, provide commercial advice to clients and play an active role in supporting more junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review year-end financial statements for a broad range of clients.
• Manage accounts assignments for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Take responsibility for a diverse portfolio of SME clients, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing practical accounting and business advice.
• Review work completed by junior team members and provide guidance where required.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.

What We're Looking For

• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• At least 3 years' post-qualified experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and a good understanding of statutory accounts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and work independently.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues would be an advantage.
• A commercial, client-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
