Senior Accountant - 2 years PQE

My client is seeking an experienced Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ ACA) with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in practice.  This is an excellent opportunity to step into a varied role with exposure to a broad client base, supportive partners, and real opportunities to progress.

You’ll work with clients across multiple sectors, gaining hands-on experience while still enjoying flexibility and a positive work–life balance.


Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial planning cycles
• Deliver commentary and insights to senior management
• Strengthen financial controls and support process improvements
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and key financial schedules
• Support statutory reporting, compliance, and audit activities
• Involvement in commercial projects, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Strong financial and analytical skillset.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise across the business.
• Comfortable managing deadlines and prioritising tasks.
• Proficient with Excel; experience with ERP systems is beneficial but not essential.
